As ambient light falls, the eye shifts toward the blue end and reds go dark first. Yellow is the last saturated color to flatten out, which is why road crews wear it. On a small dog thirty feet down a footpath in dusk, that is the difference between seeing a shape and seeing your dog.

One Piece Of Webbing, No Overhead Loop

The harness lies open on the floor. Two front paws go in, the sides come up, one buckle closes behind the shoulders. Nothing passes over the head, which removes the single step most head shy dogs resist.

Hardware Chosen Part By Part

Buckles and small parts are eco friendly plastic; the leash ring is chromed steel. A plastic clasp is fine for something that clicks, and wrong for the one fitting that has to hold a dog that lunges without warning.

Sizing By Chest Girth

Size is set by chest girth, not by weight or breed. Run a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and read it with the dog standing.

XL is offered as well. The maker's chart stops at large, so there is no published chest range for that size.

Harness Only In This Colorway

Bright yellow is sold as the harness by itself, in five sizes. There is no bundled leash on this color.

Where Visibility Is Not Enough

Bright is not the same as reflective, and a dog that backs out of its gear needs a neck strap this design does not have. A step in also has no front clip, so it will not turn a determined puller, only hold one.

Can I hang an ID tag on the D ring? You can, but it will swing against the leash clip and rattle. A tag sits better on a collar.
