The Metallic Mesh Top with Silver Mirror Discs is built from discs rather than cloth. Small reflective plates are linked across an open mesh, so the garment is closer to chainmail than to a shirt, and it behaves accordingly.

What Mirror Discs Do to Light

A flat sequin reflects in one plane. A disc suspended on a link moves independently, so each one catches light at a different angle and the surface breaks the reflection into hundreds of separate points.

The result is that the top is never still. Standing under a single light source it reads as a moving field rather than as a sheet, which is exactly what a flat metallic fabric cannot do.

How Mesh Behaves on the Body
