A landscape needs room to be a landscape, and a dress is the only garment in this range with enough surface to carry one whole: on a t-shirt the same artwork would be cropped to a fragment, and a fragment of a horizon is just a band of colour.

Scale Is The Whole Argument

• Distance needs space to read. A landscape works by putting near and far in the same image, and that only resolves if the image is large enough to hold both.
• The print runs through the seams. Cloth is printed flat and cut afterwards, so the horizon continues over the shoulder and around the body instead of stopping at a panel edge.
• The colour cannot fade. Dye bonded inside the fibre means a garment washed as often as a dress does not lose its depth over a season.

What The Cloth Is

96% polyester with 4% spandex at 6.19 oz per square yard, 210 gsm. That weight is what lets a large garment fall in a line rather than clinging or standing away, and the small spandex content gives recovery rather than stretch, so the neckline holds.

Relaxed Means Cut, Not Sized

The dress is cut with a drop shoulder and a lowered armhole with a widened sleeve. The volume is in the pattern rather than in the size, so take your usual size: going up produces a longer, looser garment rather than a better-fitting one.

Letting A Landscape Be Seen

Worn alone the print reads whole. A jacket cuts the horizon in half and takes most of the argument with it, so if you layer, layer open. Below, keep to plain: the dress is carrying an entire scene and a patterned legging competes with it directly.

Before You Order

Is the print on the back as well? Yes. The design runs across the whole garment, front, back and sleeves, because the fabric is printed before the panels are cut.

Will two dresses look identical? The artwork is the same, but each garment is cut from a printed length, so the horizon falls at a slightly different point from one size to the next.

Does polyester feel synthetic against the skin? This is a fine knit rather than a woven, so it handles more like a soft jersey than like the stiff polyester people remember. The spandex is what keeps it moving with you.

How Far the Hem Falls

These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Take your chest at its fullest with arms down, your waist at its narrowest and your hips at their fullest, keeping the tape level. Each dress is cut and sewn after it is ordered, so a finished one can measure up to an inch away from the chart.

A landscape across a whole dress raises a fair question about how much dress there is. Laid flat it measures 34¼ inches at 2XS and 41 inches at 6XL, and the steps between are under an inch each, so ordering up for coverage adds width far faster than it adds length. Width was never the shortage: about six inches separate the chest row from the garment at every size.
