• Script sits above the blocks rather than inside them. The lettering runs across the composition so it is never trapped inside a single colour field competing with it.
• Sublimation holds both at once. Hard block edges and thin script strokes need different things from a print process, and dyeing the fibre delivers both without compromise.
• Neither element can crack. A block edge and a thin letter join are the two places a surface print splits first. Neither exists as a surface here.

Performance Under The Pattern

92% polyester with 8% spandex at 4.42 oz per square yard, in a four-way stretch sports mesh with MaxDri moisture management and MicroBlok antimicrobial fabric. Overlock and coverstitch construction. None of the print interferes with any of it, because the mesh openings stay open through the printed areas.

A Busy Shirt Needs A Plain Everything Else

Black leggings, black shorts, plain shoes. This design has more going on than anything else in the athletic range, so it should be the only thing in the outfit asking for attention. It is also the least suitable here for layering, because covering part of it breaks the composition rather than cropping it.

Where A Loud Shirt Is Wrong

A studio class or a run suits it. A shirt this busy is the wrong choice as a base layer, where it will be half hidden and read as clutter under an open jacket rather than as a design.

Is the script legible against the blocks? At close range, yes. The lettering is placed across the composition rather than inside one colour field, which is what keeps it separate from the background.

Can it be worn as a base layer? It can, but it is the wrong one to choose for that. The design depends on being seen whole, and a jacket over it hides the part that makes it work.

Does the athletic cut run small? It reads snug against the measurements, as an athletic cut should. The stretch makes that comfortable; size up only for layering room.
