  • There is no elastic band anywhere on the garment. The leg and waist edges are finished flat rather than gathered onto a band, so nothing grips a mark into the skin over a long day.
  • The gusset is 95% cotton while the outer knit is polyester and elastane. That puts the cotton where skin contact actually matters and keeps the stretch everywhere else.
  • The seams read as seamless but are stitched. Bonded underwear tends to separate in a washing machine or a dryer, while stitched flat seams hold their shape through repeated cycles.
  • One print, two cuts. The same artwork comes as a slip or a thong, so coverage is a choice you make rather than one the design makes for you.

How the Print Survives Washing

The pattern is applied by sublimation, which dyes the color into the fiber instead of laying it on top the way a screen print does, so there is nothing sitting on the surface that can crack, peel or lift. What ages instead is the elastane in the knit, and with it the fit rather than the artwork. Wash gentle, iron by hand if you iron at all, and keep it out of dry cleaning.

When a Seasonal Print Works

A printed pair is a private choice rather than an outfit decision, because whatever you put over it hides the thing completely. That changes what the print is actually for: it is something you see, not something you coordinate. Two situations tend to bring people to this one. Before You Order

Slip or thong? Take the slip if you want the rear covered and the fabric to sit flat across it. Take the thong if a visible rear edge is the thing you are trying to avoid. Both use the same waist construction, so the fit across the hip does not change between them.

Will the print survive washing? Sublimated dye is set into the fabric, so it cannot crack, peel or lift the way a printed-on layer can. Washing gently is still what keeps the stretch fibers doing their job.
