The dress that feels like your oldest, softest tee from the first wear. The Eloise is a T-shirt midi dress in 100% cotton with a mineral wash that gives it a faded, sun-washed look, cap sleeves, pockets and side slits that keep your stride free. It comes in three colors: aqua, coral and lilac.

  • Mineral wash finish. A faded, uneven color that looks worn in from day one.
  • Side slits. Open seams at the hem let you walk without the skirt pulling.
  • All cotton. Soft against the skin and easy in heat.

A Midi T Shirt Dress for Heat

A midi T shirt dress is summer's lowest-effort outfit, and searches for it climb through spring to a peak in April and May. Here the cut runs straight to mid-calf, with cap sleeves, so it skims the body and lets air move. The side slits matter more than they look: without them a straight jersey skirt that falls past the knee grabs at your legs, and with them you can take full steps, climb stairs and step off a curb.

Pockets at the sides carry a phone and sunglasses, which makes it a full outfit for a beach town or a farmers market.

What Mineral Wash Means

Mineral wash is a dyeing and washing process that leaves the color slightly uneven, with lighter and darker patches like fabric faded by sun and salt. Because the finish is already worn, everyday fading only adds to the look rather than spoiling it. Each dress varies a little, so no two fade quite alike.

Aqua is cool and fresh, coral is warm and bright, lilac is soft. All three go with tan sandals, white sneakers and natural straw.

Cotton Care and Size

Cotton is the most comfortable fiber for heat. Hot water tightens it, so machine wash it cool beside like colors and air dry it to keep its length. It comes in women's S (4/6), M (8/10), L (12/14) and XL (16/18), so a size 10 orders the M and a 14 orders the L. The cut is straight and roomy, and your regular size hangs the way it does on the model.

Mineral Wash Midi on Weekends

Which color suits a tan best? Coral and aqua both glow against tanned skin; lilac is the softest of the three and suits paler skin in early summer.

How far can it dress up? A little, with a long pendant, gold hoops and leather sandals. It stays casual at heart.

Do the slits go high? They open at the lower leg, enough for an easy stride without showing much.
