Hot pink, sunflower yellow, sky blue and little flecks of black: this ditsy print packs a whole garden into a mini dress. The Hadlee has a ruffle-edged split neckline, puff short sleeves and a tiered skirt that flips out at the hem, and it was made for afternoons when the sun is out and the plans are loose.

  • Black in the print. Tiny black flecks mean black sandals and bags fit right in.
  • Ruffled split neck. A soft ruffle edges the opening and frames the face.
  • Tiers that flip. The skirt flares out in layers above the knee.

Dense Ditsy Prints Hide a Lot

A ditsy print is a pattern of small flowers packed close together, and this one is dense. From a short distance it reads as a bright pink texture rather than individual blooms. That density hides a grass stain, a drip of iced coffee or a crease from a car seat far better than a solid pink or a sparse print could.

The black flecks are the useful surprise. Most pink florals look odd beside black accessories, but here black is already in the print, so a black crossbody bag or black sandals belong to the look rather than fighting it.

The Ruffled Split Neckline
