The double-layered waistband is the feature that decides whether you keep wearing them, because a single-layer waistband on a high-rise legging rolls down the moment you bend, and a rolled waistband is the reason most leggings get abandoned rather than worn out.

What Two Layers At The Waist Change

• It resists rolling. Doubled fabric is stiffer along its own length, so the band holds its position through bending, sitting and reaching instead of folding over on itself.
• It holds rather than digs. A wide doubled band spreads pressure across the waist where a thin elastic concentrates it into a line.
• It stays opaque where it matters. The waist is where a legging is stretched hardest, and two layers there means no thinning at the point most likely to show it.

Peach-Skin Is A Finish, Not A Fabric

The surface is brushed to a fine nap, which is where the name comes from. It matters visually as much as it does by touch: a brushed surface is matte, so the leggings do not have the cheap shine of untreated polyester, and matte is also what stops a bright print looking plastic.

UPF 50+ On The Legs

The fabric admits roughly one fiftieth of the ultraviolet reaching it, which on a garment worn outdoors for a run or a walk is a real protection rather than a marketing line. It applies only where the fabric covers, and it does not extend past the hem.

Before You Order

Will the waistband roll down? The band is doubled specifically to prevent it, which is the main structural difference between these and a basic legging.

Are they squat-proof? The 18% spandex content and the four-way stretch mean the fabric recovers rather than thinning permanently, though as with any legging the deepest stretch is where a light print shows most.

Does the print distort when stretched? It takes the shape of the leg, as any print on a fitted garment does. The colour itself cannot thin, because the dye is inside the fibre.

Size Guide

These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Measure your waist at its narrowest point and your hips at their fullest, keeping the tape level. Read both rows. If your waist and your hips point to different sizes, take the larger: leggings that fit the waist but pull across the hip are the ones that roll down.
