Orange and yellow on high-waisted leggings with a pocket on each side. Pockets are the thing leggings almost always get wrong, and the failure is specific: a pocket cut too shallow lets a phone sit proud of the opening, where every step works it further out until it falls. These are cut deep enough that a phone stays down in them.
Why A Legging Pocket Is Hard To Get Right
- Depth is the whole problem. A phone needs to sit fully below the opening. Anything shallower and movement pushes it out rather than holding it in.
- Side placement uses the stretch. Set into the side of the leg, the pocket is held closed by the fabric tension around it rather than needing a fastening.
- Two pockets balance the load. One weighted pocket pulls a legging sideways; a pair lets you distribute or at least choose.
The Fabric Underneath
82% polyester with 18% spandex in a peach-skin four-way stretch, with UPF 50+ and a double-layered high waistband. The 18% spandex is what lets a loaded pocket sit still: a low-stretch fabric would sag around the weight and leave the pocket gaping.
Sun Protection Where You Are Exposed
UPF 50+ means the fabric admits about one fiftieth of the ultraviolet hitting it, which matters on legs during an outdoor run in a way it does not indoors. It protects where it covers and nowhere else.
The Honest Limit On The Pockets
Nothing fastens. The pockets are held by fabric tension, which is secure walking, running and at the gym, and not secure upside down. Anything you would mind losing does not belong in an unfastened pocket.
Before You Order
Will a large phone fit? The pockets are cut deep enough for a phone to sit fully inside rather than proud of the opening, which is where shallow legging pockets fail.
Does a phone in the pocket bounce when running? Less than in a shallow pocket, because the depth and the fabric tension hold it against the leg. It is still a legging pocket rather than a running belt.
Do the pockets show through? The pocket bag sits inside the side seam, so it reads as part of the leg rather than as a patch on the outside.
Size Guide
These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Measure your waist at its narrowest point and your hips at their fullest, keeping the tape level. Read both rows. If your waist and your hips point to different sizes, take the larger: leggings that fit the waist but pull across the hip are the ones that roll down.
| Size | Waist | Hips |
|---|---|---|
| 2XS | 23⅝ in / 60 cm | 33⅞ in / 86 cm |
| XS | 25¼ in / 64 cm | 35⅜ in / 90 cm |
| S | 26¾ in / 68 cm | 37 in / 94 cm |
| M | 28⅜ in / 72 cm | 38⅝ in / 98 cm |
| L | 31½ in / 80 cm | 41¾ in / 106 cm |
| XL | 34⅝ in / 88 cm | 44⅞ in / 114 cm |
| 2XL | 37¾ in / 96 cm | 48 in / 122 cm |
| 3XL | 41 in / 104 cm | 51⅛ in / 130 cm |
| 4XL | 44⅛ in / 112 cm | 54⅜ in / 138 cm |
| 5XL | 47¼ in / 120 cm | 57½ in / 146 cm |
| 6XL | 50⅜ in / 128 cm | 60⅝ in / 154 cm |
