Product Type: Pet Carriers

The vents run the length of the flank, so air moves whether the door is open or shut. This is the lighter, narrower capsule in the range, and it comes in five colorways rather than one.

Vents Down The Whole Flank

Most capsule carriers put a cluster of holes near the door and call it ventilation, which works while the pack is still and stops working the moment the cat lies against that side. Running the vents along the full length of both flanks means the animal cannot block the airflow by choosing where to sit.

Five Colorways, One Shell

Pink, yellow, gray, blue and sky blue all use the same body. The color changes the Oxford cloth panels, not the capacity, the vent pattern or the lock.

The Lock Is Built In, Not Clipped On

A locking mechanism built into the closure is the part that stops a determined cat from working a zipper open from the inside. Clip on locks hang off the pull and get caught on things; an integrated one has nothing to snag.

Airflow Without Opening The Door

The practical result of vent placement is that you never have to unzip for air. On a train, in a waiting room, or on a bus in August, the door stays shut and locked while the animal still gets moving air.

Where A Hard Shell Costs You

A capsule does not fold, so between trips it takes up its full size in a closet. At 12.6 inches across it is also narrower than the tall capsule in this range, which suits a smaller cat better than a broad one. And like any clear carrier it should stay out of direct sun and out of parked cars.

Side Vent Capsule Questions

Do the open vents let rain in? They are open holes rather than covered louvres, so driving rain will reach the inside. It is a fair weather and indoor design.

Does the color change anything but the look? No. All five share the same shell, vents, lock and dimensions.

Is 12.6 inches across enough for an adult cat? It suits a cat that curls rather than sprawls. Measure your cat lying down and compare it against the figures above.
