Product Type: Crossbody Bags

Croc embossing turns a small bag into the loudest thing in the outfit, which is the point. Alora is TORONATA's compact leather crossbody with a high-gloss crocodile-embossed finish, a double-zip top, a zip pocket on the back and a strap that adjusts and detaches.

  • Embossed, not exotic. The scale pattern is pressed into the leather, so you get the look without the reptile.
  • Double-zip top. The main compartment closes with a double zip, and a hidden pocket sits inside.
  • Pocket on the back. A zip pocket rides against your body for the phone or the cards you use most.
  • The strap comes off. Adjustable for crossbody wear, detachable when you would rather carry the bag in your hand.

A Small Leather Crossbody Bag

A leather crossbody bag this size is an essentials bag. TORONATA gives Alora as 15 by 21 centimeters, about 5.9 by 8.3 inches, so plan on a phone, a card case, keys, lipstick and earbuds, and leave the full-size wallet at home. Small is an advantage at night: nothing to set down, nothing to watch, both hands free. With the strap off, the same bag works as a zip pouch inside a larger tote, which means your essentials move from work bag to evening bag in one step.

Wearing Croc Embossed Leather

Treat the texture as the pattern in the outfit and keep everything around it plain: denim, knits, a black dress, a camel coat. A second animal print competes with it. High gloss reads as dressy, so Alora moves from a day outfit to dinner without a change of bag. For length, adjust until the bag rests against your hip bone; shorter, at the waist, looks sharper with a dress and stops the bag from swinging when you walk. Alora comes in five colors that TORONATA names Crocodile Heather, Black, Verdant, Sizzle and Brown.

Gloss, Rain and Daily Care

TORONATA describes the finish as water-resistant, which in practice means drizzle beads up and wipes off with a dry cloth. Gloss shows fingerprints, so keep a microfiber cloth nearby, and use a soft dry brush for the dust that settles between the scales. Skip heavy conditioners, which sit on a glossy finish and leave streaks. Embossing is a surface pattern, so do not overstuff the bag: a panel stretched tight flattens the scales over time.

Croc Texture, Phones and Strap Length

Is croc embossed leather real crocodile? No. The pattern is pressed into leather with heated plates, which is why the scales repeat evenly across the bag. You get a lighter bag that is simpler to care for, and no reptile is involved.

Does a large phone fit in the Alora? Going by the outside measurements, yes. The bag is about 8.3 inches on its long side, and the biggest current phones are about 6.4 inches tall, so one lies lengthwise with room left for cards and keys. A thick wallet case takes up the spare depth.

How long should a crossbody strap be? Long enough that the top of the bag meets your hip bone and your hand falls on the zipper without reaching. Over a winter coat, lengthen it by an inch or two. If the bag bumps your thigh when you walk, it is too long.
