Why a Floral Needs Recovery

• A repeating pattern shows distortion. Stripes and blocks hide a stretched panel; scattered flowers do not, which makes the 17% elastane and its recovery matter more here than on a plain top.

What the Elastane Does

Elastane is what recovers the knit to its shape after it has been pulled, and that is a different property from simple stretch. Plenty of fabrics stretch willingly and never come back. Where a Floral Crop Works

Before You Order

Between two bands, which one? The closer one, which is the maker's own advice. A cropped hem holds its position while the knit is working comfortably and starts travelling upward when it is stretched near its limit.

Will the purple fade? The purple was driven into the yarn under heat, so there is no printed film to wash away. Washing gently is what protects the elastane, which is the part that actually ages.
