A lace robe is the prettiest layer you can put over a nightgown, and this one balances the lace with a clean satin edge. The Delia robe from Be Wicked is sheer floral lace in black or white, finished with a smooth satin band along the front, the cuffs and the hem, plus a matching satin tie belt. It falls to mid-thigh with wide three-quarter sleeves that float when you move.

  • Satin along the edges. The band frames the lace and gives the front a crisp line.
  • Lace with stretch. Be Wicked lists the lace as nylon with spandex, so it gives across the shoulders.
  • Sizes S to 3X. S, M, L, 1X, 2X and 3X.

Lace Robe Over a Nightgown

Lace Robe for Bridal Mornings

Is the lace see-through? Yes, it is a sheer floral lace. The satin band and belt are opaque, so the edges and waist read solid while the body shows the pattern.

Will lace snag in the wash? Lace catches on zippers and hooks, so wash it on the warm delicate cycle the maker lists, inside a mesh laundry bag, with like colors. Skip bleach, the dryer, the iron and dry cleaning, all of which the care label rules out.
