Product Type: Bracelets

This cuff is drawn in two lines of polished brass wire that run side by side around the wrist, meet in a soft loop at one end and curl back on themselves at the other. It is about as minimal as a bracelet gets while still looking deliberate, so it slips into the daily rotation without a second thought. The maker, Cambodian Artisans, says it fits anywhere on the arm, from the wrist bone up to the forearm.

  • Two lines, one piece. The parallel wires look like a stack of two thin bangles without ever sliding apart.
  • Curled, not cut. Both ends are rounded back into the wire, so nothing sharp meets the skin or a sleeve.
  • Higher on the arm. Pushed up the forearm it becomes an arm cuff for sleeveless days.

Brass Cuff Bracelet for Everyday Stacking

A brass cuff bracelet this slim is a stacking piece first. Its two wires sit close together, so it adds two fine lines of warm metal to whatever else is on the wrist without adding bulk. Put it next to a watch and it frames the strap instead of fighting it. With beaded strands or a chain bracelet, keep the cuff closest to the hand so the open ends face the underside of the wrist.

On its own it reads clean and quiet, the brass equivalent of a plain white shirt. That makes it an easy first cuff for someone who has never worn one.

How to Clean Brass Jewelry Like This Cuff

Brass darkens slowly as it meets air and skin, moving from bright yellow toward a deeper honey tone. Some wearers like that softer color and leave it; to bring back the first shine, wash the cuff in warm soapy water, dry it completely and buff it with a jewelry polishing cloth. For heavier dulling, lemon juice stirred into baking soda makes a soft paste; rub it on gently, rinse well, and the darkened layer lifts.

Dry it before you put it away, because water left in the curl at the end is where marks start. A small zip bag with the air pressed out slows the color change between wearings.

Double Wire Cuff Fit

The open side is the adjuster. To make it smaller, press the two wires together at the middle of the band with both thumbs; to open it, pull gently at the middle, never at the curled tips. Wire bends easily, so small moves are enough. The maker says the brass comes from metal salvaged in Cambodia decades after its war, and this is the piece that shows that brass in its simplest form.

Wire Cuff Questions

How to clean brass jewelry without scratching it? Use a soft cloth and a mild paste, and rub along the length of the wire rather than across it. Skip scouring pads, toothpaste and steel wool, which leave fine lines in polished brass.

Will the wires spread apart over time? They are joined at the loop, so they keep their spacing. If one wire is knocked out of line, press it back with your fingers.

Is it comfortable under a long sleeve? Yes. The profile is low enough to sit under a fitted cuff, and the rounded ends do not snag the lining.
