Two things held at once, printed across the chest of a crewneck fleece. It is a working-morning joke rather than a weekend one, which is why it reads best on the sweatshirt you actually put on before the first meeting.

Who This Joke Lands With

It suits the person whose day starts before it is supposed to and who treats caffeine as infrastructure. The wording is set in a mixed script and block capitals, so it reads as a design at a glance and as a sentence when someone stops to look — which makes it wearable in an office in a way that a shouted punchline is not.

How The Print Reads

Four colorways, all of them heathered: heather prism peach, athletic heather, mauve and black heather. Heathered cloth is spun from mixed fibres, so the ground is flecked rather than flat and the printed letters sit on visible texture. That takes a little hardness off the edges and is the reason these read softer than the same design would on a solid color.

Measurements For The Sizes We Stock

A unisex crewneck, so the table matters more than a guess at your usual size. Every figure is in inches, taken on the sweatshirt laid flat rather than on a body.

Garment measurements in inches, for the sizes stocked here
Size Chest, flat Chest, around Length Sleeve
Small 20 40 26 33.5
Medium 22 44 27 34.5
Large 24 48 28 35.5
X-Large 26 52 29 36.5
XX-Large 28 56 30 37.5
XXX-Large 30 60 31 38.5

The around figure is the flat measurement doubled and already allows for a layer underneath — that is why a Small crewneck reads 40 inches where a Small tee reads 36. Sleeve is measured from the back of the neck to the cuff, not from the shoulder, which is why it looks long. Width grows two inches per step against one of length, so the larger sizes get squarer rather than simply bigger.

Washing And Everyday Wear

The cloth is a cotton and polyester fleece blend, brushed on the inside for warmth and kept smooth on the face so the print has a flat surface to sit on. Wash it inside out and cool. Fleece pills where the brushed side rubs against a full drum, and pilling around a printed area is what makes a sweatshirt start looking older than it is. Dry flat or on low if you want the cuffs to keep their grip.

Layering, Cuffs And Color Wear

Is there room for a shirt underneath? Yes at your usual size — the width figures above already allow for a layer, which is why they run wider than a t-shirt of the same nominal size.

Do the banded cuffs actually matter? More than the fabric weight does. An open sleeve lets warm air escape at the wrist every time you move your arm; a banded cuff traps it, which is why a mid-weight sweatshirt with cuffs beats a heavier one without them.

Which of the four shows wear most? Black heather. Dark heathers pick up lint and pale fibres in a way the peach and mauve do not, so if it is going to live on the back of a chair, one of the lighter three is the practical pick.
