The Natalie is a dark blue knit top built from patchwork: cream panels across the shoulders, light blue blocks at the cuffs and layered star patches stitched over the front. It is roomy and short, cut to sit just above the hip, which makes it a natural partner for high-rise jeans.

A Short, Roomy Knit Top

Oversized and long can swamp a frame, while oversized and short shows the waistband and keeps the legs long. That is what this cut does. Pair it with high-rise jeans and the hem meets the waistband, so you get volume on top without losing your shape. The photos style it exactly that way, with a brown crossbody.

Cotton Patchwork Through Spring
