Two butters and four oils go into the Frut Loops Whipped Body Butter, and that is as many fats as AMINNAH puts in any of its jars. Shea and cocoa butter carry the body, then coconut, jojoba, avocado and sweet almond oil thin it out. The result spreads like frosting rather than sitting on the skin like a balm, which is the practical difference between a whipped butter and a scooped one.

  • Avocado and sweet almond. Two lighter oils that most of this range leaves out.
  • Cleared for the face. The maker lists face, hands and feet, not body only.
  • Keep it out of the sun. Heat melts it, and it sets back smooth instead of peaked.

Why Six Fats Instead Of Two

A butter made only from shea and cocoa sets hard and drags. Adding lighter oils lowers the melting point so the product gives way under your fingers at body temperature. The avocado and the sweet almond are the two doing that job here, and no other jar in the range carries both of them. You get the staying power of a butter with the spread of a lotion, and you use less per application because it goes further.

The Cereal Note Is Sweet, Not Sharp

This smells like the milk at the bottom of the bowl rather than the dry cereal. It is a rounded fruit-and-sugar scent with no citrus edge, so it sits close to the skin instead of filling a room. Cosmetic mica in the base gives the surface a faint catch of light in daylight, which is easier to see on shoulders and collarbones than on legs.

Face, Hands And Feet Are All Fair Game

AMINNAH clears this one for use anywhere, face included, which is not true of every body product. On heels and elbows it works hardest applied to skin that is still damp, because the butter seals water in rather than supplying it. Straight out of the shower, before you dry off completely, is when it does the most.

Heat Is The One Thing To Plan Around

The jar will melt above roughly body temperature and set again as it cools. Nothing is spoiled by that, but the whipped texture does not come back on its own, so a jar left in a hot car returns as a smooth cream rather than a peaked swirl. Keep it out of direct sun and away from a radiator and the texture holds. Anyone who wants a product that survives a beach bag regardless should look at an oil instead.

Questions About Frut Loops Body Butter

Does the scent last all day? It is a fragrance oil in a butter base, so it holds for a few hours on skin and longer on clothing it touches. Reapplying to wrists is more effective than using more at once.

Will it leave a greasy film? Not if you use a thin layer on damp skin. The four lighter oils absorb within a minute or two; the butters are what remain, and they sink in rather than sitting on top.

Is the mica going to show on my clothes? The shimmer is cosmetic grade and very fine. It reads as a sheen on skin and does not transfer the way body glitter does.
