Chlorine-Resistant

Chlorine does not damage swimwear by fading it. It attacks elastane, the fiber that gives a swimsuit its stretch and recovery, breaking it down until the suit bags at the seat and the straps stop pulling back. A chlorine resistant fabric solves this by using far less elastane and getting the stretch from a different fiber instead, which is why these keep their shape over a season of pool swimming while a conventional suit gives out in weeks.
