Cashmere Gloves

Many cashmere gloves on the market are leather shells with a thin cashmere lining inside. The other kind is knit all the way through in cashmere, so the softness is on the outside as well as against your skin, and the glove bends with the hand from the first wear. A knit lets a little more wind through than leather, which is why the flat, close stitch matters and why a knit glove slips under a roomier leather pair on the coldest days. Knit cashmere is happiest dry cleaned, and a cashmere comb takes care of the pills that form where the palm rubs.
