A bubble carrier takes the clear panel and domes it outward, which does two things a flat window cannot. It widens the field of view so the animal can see sideways as well as forward, and it adds a pocket of head room without making the bag itself any larger to carry. The cost is that a protruding dome catches on door frames and car seats and takes the impact if the bag is set down carelessly, so treat it as the fragile face of the carrier and keep that side away from walls and traffic.
