Garden weddings are where a pink floral maxi earns its keep. Fit Through the Empire Waist

The lace band sits just below the bust, where an empire waist always sits, and the skirt falls straight from there. That line skims the stomach and hips instead of marking the natural waist.

It comes in women's S (4/6), M (8/10), L (12/14) and XL (16/18), so a size 10 orders the M and a 14 orders the L. Order by your bust, since that is where the dress is shaped; the smocked back adds give across the ribs.

Does this work as a maxi dress for a wedding party? For a daytime or garden wedding, yes, as a guest or for a relaxed bridal party that wants matching florals. Bridesmaids in a formal evening lineup usually need something plainer.
