Five colors, zero prints, and somehow it all agrees. The Cassandra is a color block tiered maxi dress in 100% cotton: a pink bodice on thin self-tie straps, a narrow yellow band at the high waist, then lilac, mint green and orange tiers down to the ankle, with pockets in the skirt.

  • Brightest at the hem. Orange sits lowest, which grounds the outfit and draws the eye along the skirt.
  • Self-tie straps. Thin ties knot at the shoulder, so the bodice sits exactly where you want it.
  • All cotton. Cotton feels cool and soft in summer heat and gets softer with each wash.

How Color Blocking Works Here

Color blocking is about order. Pink, yellow, lilac, mint and orange are all pastel to mid tones of similar brightness, so none of them shouts over the others. The orange tier is the strongest, and putting it at the hem anchors the whole dress, the same way a darker floor makes a bright room feel settled. It comes in women's S (4/6), M (8/10), L (12/14) and XL (16/18), so a size 10 orders the M and a 14 orders the L. Cotton has no stretch, so choose by your bust measurement.

Is 100% cotton cool in heat? Yes. Cotton soaks up sweat and lets air pass, so it feels cooler on a humid day than a polyester dress of the same weight.
