Violet is the one fragrance note that switches your nose off mid sniff. Its molecules, the ionones, bind to the receptors that detect them and briefly stop those receptors responding at all. The scent seems to vanish, then arrives again a few breaths later as though it were new, and this spray leads with violet over lily and orchid.

Heliotrope And Plum Underneath

The florals sit on top and are the part you meet first.
