Skinny Scarf

A skinny scarf adds a line of color without any bulk, which is why it works under a coat collar, over a blazer lapel and around a bag handle. A narrow silk drapes like a soft tie when worn long and sits flat in a single knot when worn short. Length decides the look: a long strip hangs loose down the front like a tie, while a shorter strip ends neatly after a single collar knot.
