Both are insulated, not just recessed. A plain fabric holder keeps a cup upright and does nothing about temperature; an insulated one keeps milk cool through a two hour walk and a coffee warm through the first half of it.

Velcro Fits What Buckles Do Not

Buckled straps come in fixed lengths and either reach or do not. Velcro wraps to whatever diameter the handlebar happens to be, which is why the same organizer goes onto a slim umbrella stroller frame and a thick wheelchair push handle.

It Folds Flat

Lightweight and foldable, so it packs into a suitcase or a car door pocket between trips rather than holding its volume the way a structured organizer does.

Mesh Has Trade Offs

Mesh panels let you see the contents and let rain reach them. The fabric is waterproof polyester where it counts, but a mesh section is a mesh section, so the organizer is for the things you do not mind getting damp. Keep the phone in the zipped pocket.
