Leather splits into two opposite readings and a product title almost never tells you which one you are getting. Suede leather is soft, powdery and stays close to the skin, while tarry hide leather is smoky, faintly animalic and fills the room it is worn in. Working out which of the two a bottle belongs to matters more than anything else on its note list.
