Layered necklaces either arrive stacked or are made to start a stack, from pre-spaced double strands in gold tone steel and an engraved brass bar layered on plated chains to lavender or topaz CZ tennis necklaces, single stone CZ solitaires and a faceted black quartz drop on brass. The rule that makes layering look intentional is about 2 inches between strands, so pendants never collide. Begin with the shortest piece at the base of your stack and add longer chains below it.
