Jasmine Perfume

Jasmine contains indole, a molecule that reads floral in tiny quantities and distinctly animal in larger ones, and every genuine jasmine carries some of it. That is why jasmine can smell clean from across a room and slightly overripe when your nose is against your own wrist. If jasmine has ever struck you as too much, the indole is the reason, and it is a property of the flower rather than a fault in the bottle.
