Graphic Hoodie

The usable print area on a hoodie is a wide, shallow strip between the neckline and the top of the pocket, which is a very different shape from the tall rectangle available on a t-shirt. Artwork drawn for a tee has to be cropped or shrunk to fit it, and shrinking is what makes a design read as small and lost on the chest. Horizontal compositions are the ones that were made for this garment rather than adapted to it.
